OUR INSPIRATION

Dinkweng is a private reserve located in Limpopo. It forms part of the Waterberg Biosphere, a unique conservation area. As such, we draw our inspiration from our natural surroundings, the bushveld; a place where you can exist in unity with nature, even if only for a fleeting moment. We trust that a true ‘world class hospitality’ status can only be achieved when we combine the traditions of the local community with exceptional service.

FROM OUR GUEST

OUR STORY

“Whenever I found myself stuck in the ways I relate to things, I return to nature. It is my principal teacher and I try to open my whole being to what it has to say” – Wynn Bullock. On Dinkweng is a special tree, wrapped in folklore. Here you will find new leopard scratches daily and it is from this place that our property takes its name, which translates to ‘place of the leopards’. Rarely seen, the leopard is a majestic and fearless animal and at this special place, it lets us know that it is watching over us, here at Dinkweng. For this reason, we strive to live simply and in balance with nature, just like our guardian.

FROM OUR GUEST

Good day fellow Travelers My girlfriend and I went to Dinkweng for a romantic getaway and we were pleasantly surprised with the professionality of the staff. We were treated like royals. We will definitely be back before the end of this year. Thanks to Nicole and Marnus for the great service!

This was an amazing stay. We loved every minute. We wish we could stay longer but we will most definitely be back soon! With more people! We loved the hosts Nicole and Marius, who went the extra mile more than once and are SO friendly. You guys really make Dinkweng a wonderful place!

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we stayed in Lodge no. 9 for a weekend. It was so peaceful and relaxing, even spotted some animals from our deck. The facilities were in a great condition and it is extremely spacious. It's the perfect place to go if you're looking for privacy and tranquillity. Will definitely go back!!!
